A few of our favorite sites ...

JanniLou Creations has a few favorite links to share with you.  We hope you will visit these friendly sites and return here often!

Off the Beaten Path ... A Quilter's Safari:  this is the website for the annual "safari" to nine shops from Dallas to Canyonville.  It's a not-to-be-missed event, with lots of fun and prizes! Prize winners for the 2007 Safari are listed on the Safari site, and you can "visit" each of the participating shops.

Beachcombershaven.com. This is the site of our Coastal retreats.  We do one in January, usually a Judy Niemeyer quilt, and one in November.  November 2008 is a "double mystery" -- you don't know what you're making, and you purchase a kit for the project, so you don't know what fabrics you'll use!  Beachcombers Haven is a great facility, featuring the "Sandbox," a space designed for sewing retreats!  What a lovely place to sit and sew and watch the ocean!

Quiltworx.com is the website for Judy Niemeyer Quilting.  Judy's paper-foundation-pieced patterns are spectacular, and Judy and her family are among our very favorite people.  The website is an inspiration to make a myriad of quilts!  You can view her patterns in ever-changing color combinations.

Rich's Sewing & Vacuum is our favorite sewing machine shop.  They have two locations:  Albany and Salem.  JanniLou Creations has models of Bernina and Janome sewing machines from Rich's so that you may try them out at your leisure, and Rich's offers special deals for JLC customers.

Stitchin' Post.  Who hasn't heard of the Stitchin' Post in Sisters, Oregon.  This premier shop has been there for over 30 years and Jean Wells is responsible for the wonderful Quilters' Affair held every July, followed by the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show.  Jan and Lou are lucky enough to be among the instructors for Quilters' Affair, and they enjoy hosting the teachers' tent on Quilt Show day.

AlexAndersonQuilts. What a fun place to see what other quilters think about all aspects of quilting!  This is a listing of shops all over the country!

Pine Needles Designs.  One of our favorite designers is McKenna Ryan, who captures the great outdoors and brings it inside to hang on our walls!  We have MANY Pine Needles patterns (and quilt hangers) in the shop, among them her Block-of-the-Month offerings.

All-Oregon.com is a site listing Oregon businesses of interest.  Worth checking out!
